We currently have vacancies for our Kaitiaki Whenua Limited team to deliver on our ground’s maintenance and land-care projects.  These are permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week positions that will be based out of our Rotorua and Rotokawa depots.

The kaimahi positions will require staff to operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specified job tasks – tree planting, scrub clearance, lawn mowing, fencing, splitting firewood, maintain native forests and some light construction such as minor building repairs, walkways and safety rails.

 Kaimahi position requirements:

  • Ability to work with power tools, small engines and heavy equipment
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25kgs
  • Work outdoor in various weather conditions
  • Work safely and in a responsible manner with eager participation
  • Be a team player with a positive work attitude
  • Class 1 Driver’s Licence preferred
  • Preference given to people with past experience although additional training will be provided
