All New Health Grants offered by Tauhara North No.2 Trust are available to registered Owners, descendants and whanau. Health Grants are issued for services provided around the world. Please call 0800 828 427 (TAUHARA) if you are unsure.
Below is a list of the new health grant categories we provide support for:
Up to $3000 per calendar year for Owners and $2000 per calendar year for Whanau Members. For approved Health services that are not GP or Health nurse but your GP has referred you for a Specialist Consultation (not publicly funded) , Diagnostics or testing or a minor procedure to be done by a Specialist. The Specialist Grant also covers Allied providers such as Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Podiatrists. In some circumstances you may be requested to provide evidence of medical need.
For high medical needs such cancer support, minor surgical procedures and support for chronic conditions. Grants in this category must be pre-approved by the Trust and you will need to provide evidence of medical need along with health/treatment planning. Please apply as soon as possible after your diagnosis and before any treatment. Payments are made direct to your provider/s.

Owners and Kaumātua requiring hip and or knee operations will be given priority. Grants in this category must be pre-approved by the Trust. Please apply as soon as possible after your diagnosis and before any treatment. Payments are made direct to your provider/s.
