The Discretionary Grants are designed to support registered owners, their descendants, and whanau who are facing financial hardship, as recognized by the Tauhara North No.2 Trust. The grant is available globally but can only be disbursed to New Zealand or Australian bank accounts.

The categories that the one-off annual Discretionary Grant can cover, but are not limited to, are:

1. Health Need – Assistance is available for medical treatments that exceed the limits of current health grant allocations and do not qualify under other health grant categories.
2. Financial Hardship – Support may be provided for a range of circumstances. We encourage you to consult with our staff to determine your eligibility.
