All New Health Grants offered by Tauhara North No.2 Trust are available to registered Owners, descendants and whanau. Health Grants are issued for services provided around the world. Please call 0800 828 427 (TAUHARA) if you are unsure.
Below is a list of the new health grant categories we provide support for:

Specialist
This grant is available to all registered whānau members to cover medical care generally not covered by the general health grant or provided by a GP Service. All specialist grants need to have an approved letter or plan from their specialist or GP. This includes health care such as counselling, physiotherapy, podiatry, chiropractor, special dental treatment, diagnostic tests and X-rays.
Owners grant value: $3,000.00 and all other whānau members: $2,000.00

Medical/Emergency Needs
For high medical needs such cancer support, minor surgical procedures and support for chronic conditions. Grants in this category must be pre-approved by the Trust and you will need to provide evidence of medical need along with health/treatment planning. Please apply as soon as possible after your diagnosis and before any treatment. Payments are made direct to your provider/s.

Medical treatment (Surgical)
Owners and Kaumātua requiring hip and or knee operations will be given priority. Grants in this category must be pre-approved by the Trust. Please apply as soon as possible after your diagnosis and before any treatment. Payments are made direct to your provider/s.
